Guidelines of the processing of personal data

You accept our guidelines, when you visit nordic-phantoms.com. We collect information about your visit. Below you can read about the information we collect, how we process the information and who you can contact if you have questions or comments about our guidelines.

What information do we collect about you?

The information we collect about you can be divided into two categories:
  • Personally identifiable information
  • Non-Personal information

1 Personally identifiable information

We never collect personally identifiable information without you having given us this information yourself. E.g. by purchasing an item or contacting us through email. We ask you to not write sensitive personal data, covered by the data protection regulation art. 9. E.g. health data, information about sexuality, race or ethnic origin, religious, political or philosophical beliefs.

When you contact us through email

When you contact us through email, we store your information securely. The data we collect through email is used only to carry out the necessary processing that is requested. When the collected data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, all received data is deleted. Depending on relevance, we normally collect and process the following personal data about people who contact us:
  • Contact information: name, address, phone number, email address
  • Information you write relevant to the specific inquiry

2 Non-Personal information

We collect digital information about your visit in various ways. None of this information makes it possible to trace you as an individual, but only to the device from which you gained access.

Cookies

We collect information about you and your equipment. These informations are used to recognize visitors and remember settings, perform analysis, operate the website, customize and improve our content and features, to improve and ensure personal relevance to you. This is done by using cookies. When you visit our website, you will be greeted by a pop up where you can choose to consent to the collection of information and the use of cookies. You can always change or withdraw your consent under cookie settings at the bottom of the page. We store the information from cookies for different periods of time, depending on the type and purpose. We process the information on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring, adapting and improving our content and functions, cf. the data protection regulation art. 6 pieces. 1, letter f.

All data is exchanged in anonymized form, and is thus not personally identifiable. IP addresses are anonymized by masking the last digits of the address. Cookies and data are collected in collaboration with the following 3rd party data processors, which all comply with the EU’s applicable requirements for processing data/information.

Your rights

You have the following rights in terms of the personal data we store about you:
  • Request for insight into your personal data: You have the right to access the personal data we store about you. In many cases, this information is already available for you in you browser or email provider. However, your right to access the information may be limited by legislation, for the protection of other people’s privacy and for consideration of our business practices,  trade secrets and internal assessments.
  • Request for correction of incorrect or incomplete data: If the information we store about you is incorrect or incomplete, you are entitled to have the information corrected, subject to the limitations imposed by law.
  • Request for deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your information when:
    1. The personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
    2. You withdraw your consent to the processing and there is no other legitimate reason for the processing.
    3. You object to the processing and there is no legitimate reason to continue the processing.
    4. The treatment is illegal.
Please note that in certain cases we may be required to retain some of your personal data after you have requested deletion, in order to comply with our legal or contractual obligations. We may also be permitted by applicable law to store some of your personal data to meet our business needs.
