Description
The IV Access Insert is designed for hands-on training in conventional peripheral intravenous access.
The insert provides realistic tactile feedback during vein palpation, needle insertion, and catheter placement, allowing trainees to develop the fundamental skills required for successful IV access.
Trainees can practice identifying suitable veins, positioning and inserting the needle, accessing the vessel, and placing an IV catheter in a controlled and repeatable training environment.
The insert is designed for repeated use and can be easily exchanged in the Lower Arm Phantom, allowing the same training arm to be used for different IV access procedures.
The modular design makes it possible to expand the Lower Arm Phantom with additional training inserts as new applications become available.
