Description
The Esophagus Insert with Bleeding Varices is designed for realistic endoscopic training in the identification and management of bleeding esophageal varices.
The insert provides an active variceal bleeding scenario, allowing trainees to practice navigating the esophagus, identifying bleeding varices, and performing appropriate endoscopic interventions in a controlled and repeatable training environment.
Trainees can develop their skills in assessing variceal bleeding and applying techniques for achieving haemostasis.
The insert can be used to practice balloon tamponade and stent placement for the management of bleeding esophageal varices.
The insert is designed for repeated training and can be easily exchanged in the UpperGI Bleed Phantom, allowing users to switch between different esophageal training scenarios.
